This song is so true to me right now! The only difference is that I’m a male and the young lady I was interested in didn”t tell me that she is engaged to be married. I’am really hurt by this because I had so much trust in her. And right now to this day,she still hasn’t confessed that she is getting married to another man. WELL this song is really helping me coupe with the hurt and pain; however I wish her the best and May GOD bless her and I give her my blessings also. CONGRATULATIONS

@12qm …AGREED. I still can’t believe that she never had any certified gold albums. I’ve at times heard great singers with poor production and/or songs or great production/songs with so-so singers, but Vesta had the unique combination of good songs and great singing. There are so many artists from the 80s/early 90s that were limited (as the charts were not as crossed over as they are now) and these artists with immeasurable talent never got the recognition (or financial accolades) deserved.
